BIRDS
Below is a list of species which we have been told will be at the CAMBRIDGE BIRD SALE on Sunday 29th March
HOW TO INTERPRET THE LIST:
-
Birds listed are species or breeds, therefore they are written as singular i.e. ‘Finch’ not ‘Finches’. This does not mean that there is only one of each bird expected.
-
If there is only one bird expected then in brackets it will say something like ‘(cock)’ or ‘(hen)’.
-
If the breeders specify colours or mutations it will say in brackets following the name.
-
If it says ‘(inc. mutation)’ it means that we have been told of both normals and mutation birds coming.
-
If it says just ‘(mutation)’ it means we have only been told of mutation birds coming.
-
The list should only be used as a guide, not a cast iron guarantee that the birds will be there. We often get the odd table holder not turning up on the day so if their birds are on the list they obviously won’t be there either.
-
If we get sent a list one day and one of the birds is sold or dies the day after, that bird obviously won’t be at the sale. If the breeders lets us know we immediately remove it from the list, but if they don’t obviously we can’t.
-
In summary this is just a snapshot of expected birds and is only information we have been sent in good faith. We NEVER list birds that we haven’t been told are coming just to bulk up the list and we always endeavour to be as accurate as possible based on the information we are given.
